July 9 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: IF HE’S DONE IT BEFORE, HE CAN DO IT, AGAIN!
July 9 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: IF HE’S DONE IT BEFORE, HE CAN DO IT, AGAIN!
Deuteronomy 7:18 “Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharoah, and unto all Egypt.”
There are many reasons during this time in our lives that we may allow fear to overtake us. As saints of God, we are called to REMEMBER those times that God has already delivered us from the hand of the enemy. God says, “Remember what I have done before!” Amidst all assaults and attacks of the enemy, BE BRAVE, BE STRONG, and find refuge in the God of your salvation because, He is with you!

Proverbs 29:25 “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
What makes you the best candidate for this position?” asked one of the three interviewers. After giving several reasons I thought would suffice, I still felt the prompting of the Lord to share my testimony with the group. Religious conversations are off limits in job interviews, I thought to myself, but I put the fear aside and proceeded to say, “I asked the Lord to give me this job.” Later that night, I received a call from the employer offering me the position! I had no reason to fear for God was with me!

July 7 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: BE NOT AFRAID OF THEIR FACES
July 7 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: BE NOT AFRAID OF THEIR FACES
Jeremiah 1:8 “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.”
In a 2018 article in the Christian Post, writer Stoyan Zaimov identified three fears that keep Christians from telling others about Jesus. Of these fears is the fear of being mocked or upsetting others. The prophet Jeremiah experienced mockery, ridicule, and even death threats because he carried an unpopular message of impending judgment to Israel. But as the Lord was with Jeremiah to help put his fears to rest, the Lord is with you today. Don’t be afraid of the faces of men, but be sober and ready to witness, in love and conviction, that Jesus is soon to come for a people who have made themselves ready for His return.

July 6 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: GOD IS ON MY SIDE
July 6 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: GOD IS ON MY SIDE
Psalm 118:6 “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
When we live a life that is pleasing to God, we can trust that He will stand with us. Several months ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and more recently I was exposed to a COVID-19 patient who was under my care. In both cases, many asked me if I was afraid. My response each time was the same, “No. I am not afraid. God is in control. He has not given me the spirit of fear.” I refuse to fear what man, nature, or disease can do to me for God is on my side.

July 5 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: WHEN YOU CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD
July 5 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: WHEN YOU CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD
Proverbs 3:25 “Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh.”
It has been several years ago now, but I can remember driving my 18-wheeler on a curvy, two-lane road. As I was driving, another 18-wheeler was in my lane headed straight towards me! All I could do was close my eyes and call on the Name of the Lord! When I opened my eyes, the 18-wheeler was gone! It was only the work of the Lord that kept me in the midst of sudden fear.

July 4 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: OVERCOMING FEAR
July 4 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: OVERCOMING FEAR
Deut. 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
The saints of God have no reason to fear at all because we have as our guide, this indescribable gift-our Helper (the Holy Ghost) coupled with God’s Word. It is through the Word of God that we must nurture the Holy Ghost and as a result, we will gain the courage to bind the grip of fear and dispel its presence to no longer stagnate us. Fear and depression have overwhelmed so many in the midst of this worldwide pandemic. Yet, saints do not fear, but we reflect and stand on God’s Word. Let’s be encouraged to keep an appetite for the Word of God that we may gain strength and courage with this assurance: God is with us and will not fail or forsake us despite these unsettled times.

July 3 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: WHAT GOD HAS FOR US IS OURS, BUT WE MUST POSSESS IT
July 3 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: WHAT GOD HAS FOR US IS OURS, BUT WE MUST POSSESS IT
Deuteronomy 1:21 “Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.”
What is God requiring of you in order to take possession of His promises? Are you listening, seeking, and obeying the Spirit of God? When the time came for Israel to possess the Promised Land, the vast majority of them succumbed to discouragement and fear. But as Joshua and Caleb believed and obeyed God despite what they saw, let us have this same mind to lean and depend on God and grasp by faith the things He has promised. Possess it!

July 2 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF US
July 2 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF US
Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
We have no reason to fear or fret. God takes care of the birds and the lilies of the field. So we know according to His Word that God will take care of us. Just trust, have faith, and walk in His Word each day.

July 1 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: THE HOLY GHOST IS YOUR PARACLETUS
July 1 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: THE HOLY GHOST IS YOUR PARACLETUS
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
As saints of God, you do not have to walk in fear. But to operate at such a level, you must have something in you to keep your heart from failing to fear. The Holy Ghost is the prerequisite needed to provide an unshakable, unyielding faith in God. I challenge you today to work the Holy Ghost that is in you, for it is your Paracletus (your Helper). It will uphold and keep you despite any scare tactic the enemy may bring.
